Sudan is not a typical vacation spot. We took Mollie to Khartoum to visit people we know there during a school holiday (from Qatar). She was amazing. A lot of strange things happened but it includes a family living on an island on the Nile River offering their son to marry Mollie. She declined.

Salt
Living simple
Life is very different for people in different places. Amazing. In the little house out in this salt farm on the coast of Cambodia lives a family with a number of children. As I was passing by I could hear them laughing, talking and just being together. They are not wealthy people and these salt farmers work hard. Makes me think a lot about what makes people happy or content with life.
